It's said that Herrick wrote all of his poems about fictional women he simply made up. This may be true, but if not, Julia must've been facepalming constantly in public. But hey, at least this poem is about how awesome her clothes are, as opposed to her tits.

As an aside, the Ladies of Lit (as I've come to refer to my fine female contingent) decided on Friday that publishing poems about your girlfriend's nipples isn't really cool. That said, writing poems about your girlfriend's nipples is fine, and possibly even flattering - you just have to keep said poem in a shoebox.

You heard me, Boys of the Brick: it's time to get started on your nipple poems. You can thank me later.
