Paradise Lost (10)

Publication Date: September 9, 2011

Chapter: English Literature in the Early Seventeenth Century

This comic is pretty much a direct response to yesterday's comments. That's really one of the only upsides to have having a lot of comics done ahead of time. In any event, a plain text reading of Ezekiel 1.4-1.15 reveals that cherubs do, indeed, look completely ridiculous. As such, I think I'm justified in having Satan disguise himself as a girl angel instead of a cherub. If nothing else, it makes the artwork more appealing.

And yes, I know that angels technically have no gender. That's not really gonna stop me from drawing what I want.
